Mick Hall's Saltwater Fly Tying Methods:   Double Bunny.

A good friend of mine, Scott Sanchez of Livingstone in Montana, developed this pattern. I have no hesitation in telling you that Scott would have to be one of the most innovative fly tiers in America at the moment. The Double Bunny was first developed as a salt-water fly, principally for Barracouta, but it has proven to be a true multi species fly pattern of the first degree.

This pattern is so good it was in fact banned from the "One Fly" event in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, simply because it was too good and it kept on winning the event. Another reason was that the fly is quite large and the hook size used damaged a lot of small fish. The hook size was reduced to a maximum of size 8 to protect these fish and so the Double Bunny, because of the hook size required to make it, faded from view. The fly is awesome, you owe it to yourself to try it, you have nothing to lose.
