Mick Hall's Fly Tying Masterclass Series.

Mick is regarded by many as one of Australia’s foremost fly tiers. He has been actively pursuing and promoting the sport of fly fishing and the art of fly tying for over forty years.

Through his club demonstrations, publications, active committee work and many years of conducting fly tying schools, Mick has taught many Australian and New Zealand fly tiers. Mick is a patient, knowledgeable and successful teacher who presents his lessons with the practical twist of a competitive fly fisher.

With a mix of animation & electronic graphics to illustrate the many points that Mick explains, the Masterclass series has set a new high standard for fly tying instruction programs. These are programs made at the transition point of traditional methods combined with the first of the new wave synthetic materials. With the DVD release of Masterclass 1 & 2 plus Masterclass 3 - Making Mayflies - Mick brings into play a unique library of closeups of the nymphs he is trying to imitate.

‘Now is your chance to sit at his feet and hope that a little of his skill will rub off. Even if you don’t tie your own, you must invest in this video - you will even be a better selector of your purchased flies - there are many points offered by Mick which will give you more insight into the making, structure and desirable features of the most important item in your gear.’

George Rowney, author of Pursuit of Fly Tying.

‘The Australian Bushcraft Library has produced a superb video featuring master craftsman Mick Hall. Anyone who watches this video will be encouraged to try for themselves the art that Mick does so well. This video is acomplete guide for the beginner and is excellent for anyone who wants to improve his skill in the art of fly tying’
